Every chance Part would have upped it too against Mardle tbf
True.
I wonder what the crowd would have been like?
50/50 split?
Would have been pro mardle I'm sure
Part the "dirty foreigner".
My memory is appalling but I assume the tavern crowd in 06 for his semi against Taylor must have been a bit lively
Very likely.
Mardle's neck of the woods, I think?

Right in his parish

The crowd for the 97 semi final between taylor and eric was absolutely mad and baying for eric to win
Taylor himself has said that was the biggest test of his career.
At times you could see his hand shaking
A shot eric reduced Taylor of all people to that
Imagine what he would do with smith, barney etc

Eric would tear a few of the soft lads a new one today.
Imagine what Luke Humphries would be reduced to?

I mean, hopefully not.
But with what has been documented about him in the past, it could have gotten a lot worse for him.

We've had some decent players in our local leagues over the years.

Played Mardle too in an exhibition, should have beaten him but he started clowning around and I couldn't keep a straight face, he was good value though to be fair. No issues with him , apart from his commentary obviously !!!

What’s the story regarding Mardle ‘allegedly’ reporting Wade for something? I read it on here whereby something supposedly happened. I think it was from 2014
Is there any story here?
