As long as someone has given wade the news it's all good.
I don’t think he gives a fuck. More time on the fun bags
Oh he definitely wanted in
How do you know? Did ITV tell you?
he said it himself
Fair enough. After seeing that, if Wade had of won the Masters, would he have been asked?
Based on last season though I personally think he warranted a place but there always next year

I expect Duzza will grind his way to a few wins but Cross looks dead and buried. His inclusion this year is ludicrous and if anything proves the top 4 qualification spots system is broken. He's been absolute muck non-stop since November 2019

Yeah I wish they got rid of the top 4 rule this year. The three in front of him in the rankings are on another planet compared to Cross. And that’s with MVG not playing his best. The sooner Cross drops out the top 16, the better. He drags everyone down with his performances

Or does it prove the order of merit doesn't work if someone 25th on the year to date order of merit can be 4th in the world still?

I will debate with anybody on here without becoming indignant and self righteous. I certainly never get angry.

When was the last time Cross played well on TV?
I’d say the matchplay semi final and final he won. Great comeback against Gurney and was smashing Smith in the final. Think he was 9-1 up at one point maybe?
The European championship final he won against Price was pure shite though. He dragged Price down. Think they were both below 90 average

Just been looking at the euros results - he averaged 93 price 84.5

This
That stat clearly proves the system is flawed in my opinion.

Surprised it was as high as 93. I knew Price just couldn’t get going. He blamed the crowd of course.

Yeah 100% agree. You have Cross at 4th and even the likes of top 32 clingers like Clemens and Dolan putting in leagues better performances on tv. Hell even the Snackpot played great this weekend given his recent results (which have been much worse than Cross).

I like Cross and I do think he will get his game back, but on form he really doesn’t deserve his PL place, but correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t he actually move up from 5th place after the worlds due to the ranking system?

Yep, he was 5th seed but moved up due to Smith losing 200k

Couple that with the fact that he is arguably the worst watch in the PL with his creepy routines and standing back etc. Nothing against him personally and he seems a really dead on bloke but as a player I hope he gets smashed.

he was definitely 4th before and after the worlds....
we were discussing in the threads that Asp had to get to the semi's to knock him off of the 4th spot

On the oom he was 5th, I know the reality was he was 4th due to the ranking system. It just seems bonkers that a player so out of form can be the so called 4th best player in the world, yet on current form he is nowhere near that level. It makes a mockery of the ranking system imo.

He was 5th entering the worlds but he was set to become 4th because of the money Asp and Smith were defending.
