2009: PDC 10-12 BDO ----- [4 of these BDO wins by then-active PDC players]
2010: PDC 9-16 BDO
2011: PDC 11-10 BDO ---- [1 of these BDO wins by a then-active PDC player]
2012: PDC 17-13 BDO ---- [5 of these BDO wins by then-active PDC players]
2013: PDC 10-9 BDO ---- [3 of these BDO wins by then-active PDC players]

If the reverse had happened, and the PDC had sent 5-6 of their best players to a BDO event, they would have easily won more than they lost.

The PDC was much better from 2007 onward.

Using the original calculation:

Across 2007-2014, the PDC are +12.

By 2019, they are +60.

This event was the cream of the BDO vs. the cream, milk and mould of the PDC.

So the head-to-head cup race was tilted massively to the BDO's advantage.

does this imply that Headshaker's 'world titles' are actually worth something?

The BDO's best players snacking on the likes of Pat Orreal, Colin McGarry, Stacy Bromberg, Tricia Wright and James Hubbard doesn't say a lot about the BDO. Or about anything else for that matter.

The Slam has never been a like-for-like cross-code tournament, so the all-time head-to-head record at face value is completely meaningless.

Which makes me feel great! Thanks Bob.

No need.

Only Waites beating Wade and Hankey beating Taylor in 2010 matter.

Of the modern era, for sure.

Of the eight, 5 were future tour card holders: Duzza, Noppy, Hughes, Hinges and JEFF.

Three of them are in the Top 32 currently.
