If it does go ahead with no audiance, it will be more than twice the prize fund than the closed doors uk open. Pdc will surely be making a net loss if they go through with it.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

Cash reserves are nice and fat so they can do such things for a fair while longer, I'd imagine. They want to pay their players.

Bring back entry fees. Then tell the parasites at Sportotal to do one. Oh sorry, wrong company.

Did any prize money increase for this year? I can't remember. It doesn't always.

Dunno what would have been my preference here, July looks too early for a crowd, but we might be waiting a long while for crowds to be possible in the UK anyway (worlds potentially?). Still, can't deny that I'm massively excited for this, crowds or no crowds

Bunting missing out narrowly on both lists. No Merv. There'll be hard luck tales but that's life at the moment I spose. No doubt there'll be calls to expand the field a little to take the edge off.

Doubt they'll expand the field, but in 96 and 97, when Phil's Darts Club was in its infancy, and they had to invite a load of random North Americans and Paul Lim (RIP Dave Kelly), there were 40 players in the field.

Reckon they might arrange some ProTours just before, so the guys just outside the cut-off get a chance to catch up

Crowds were always a pipe dream, but it's a bit of a shame it's been moved to MK

Isn't there accommodation on site which makes it more than workable?
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

Probably just stick it in my savings because I'm a boring cunt.
But I'll keep the tickets for next year.

Is that the arena they do the masters in or is it something else?

Yep but they will put false walls up and make a small presentable room like the snooker

Can't wait to hear Nicholson bore on about what an amazing opportunity for someone to become the only multiple venue Matchplay champion

Thankfully it's on Sky.

Nicco only commentates on ITV/BBC/Eurosport events.

Did they talk about playing artificial crowd noise during the event? Or did I just imagine that?

Yeah, they did. Pretty important if you don't want to see Ian White winning a major lol
