Daily Walkthrough - Pick A Tournament

We are to wander through a televised tournament from history, one day a time. Picking out news, sport, music and anything else from the time.
But mainly digging up articles and videos from the tournament itself. Your memories of the tournament and its matches, the highs and the disasters as we go through.
Suggest a tournament to use. Keep it PDC for now. It needs to have reasonable coverage online, so pick something relatively recent. No Ladas or Quadro boards, thanks.

I was thinking of going a bit further back into history but we can do that. Keep the suggestions coming. If it goes well then we'll use a few of them.

Again I don't think we have schedules for mid-90s stuff. UK Open is too chaotic.
