Bundesliga will allow a certain number of fans for each stadium so I think this is pretty realistic

Perhaps a little harsh on Hopp and Clemens who didn't get the chance to qualify, but you can't accuse the PDC of shafting over the Germans over the past few years

Hopp and Clemens are automically included as 2 of the 4 host nation qualifiers. A change to the rules at the beginning of the season was that the top 2 ranked home nation players qualify by right. They have to win their 1st round game though for their prize money to count on the relevant order of merit, like the seeded players in round two have to.
If you remember from ET1, Kim Huybrechts and Dimitri van den Bergh played without qualifying.

Ah yes, of course, the events are in Germany so they'll get their chances again, forgot that as they were supposed to be in other countries! Worked out well then, nobody's missed out, be interesting to see how Hopp and Clemens perform with the crowd not putting off their opponents!

Cool. I think this is the way to go for now, just about having venues large enough to make it that the number of spectators possible while having tables the correct distance apart is worth it.

As long as food and drink is served to the tables then it is no different in terms of regulations to a restaurant being open, just happens to be some live entertainment on a stage.

Now that those events have been cancelled how will that work with money being removed from the OOM?

There'll just be fewer events on the calendar for the OoM I presume, just like they did for the Matchplay race. Ended up messing up a few players (especially the ones who had been making up ground quickly), arguably saved Dimitri, but it was the best they could do really. For the main OoM it shouldn't make too much difference in the sense that new players are unlikely to be pushing for top 32/16 after half a year (probably even a year and a half) (whereas it's very possible to push for the Matchplay/Grand Prix via the ProTour in your first tour card year), everyone is gonna be in the same boat
