Nice result, Mvg was lucky to make the final with a few players choking against him.

I quite like Searle, seems a nice guy. Doesn't stop with the 180's once he starts finding them either.

Good on Searle. Would like to see MvG have a difficult year, might be a bit less bored if he keeps getting beaten.

His performance at the Worlds summed up how disinterested he was, the pinnacle being that audacious attempt to finish Darius's 9 darter.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

I thought that was genuinely nasty, presumably jealous that Labanauskas might have stolen his limelight by doing a 9 darter.

Did Taylor ever try that? Was absolutely remarkable. Worked too.

It worked, but it's not really behaviour we want to encourage.

Did Darius even notice, or did he genuinely fuck away that leg all by himself?

Guaranteed £11k from this week's exploits for Searle already, none too shabby. With roughly halfway to go, he's snuck into the provisional places for the Matchplay too, made a decent fist of trying for Blackpool last year before fizzling out towards the end, let's see if he can sustain it this time

Definitely. Still might have fucked it anyway, but the shadow finish clearly threw him.

Ashton has Bunse again. Unfortunately Barnard has another winnable game against Pallett

If Divvy Dibby upsets the odds and wins I think he'll make the semis.
