Coming to America?
Could be worse, could be Keegan Brown coming to America.
An extinction level event could happen and he wouldn't be invited
The darts players who couldn't play an exbo in their own back garden exbo surely includes Keegan Brown.
If he was playing in my garden I'd draw the curtains.
If it was Pipe, I'd be throwing things out of the window to get him to fuck off.

The World Series of Darts will return Down Under for a treble-header in August, with the NZ Darts Masters in Hamilton sandwiched between visits to two exciting new destinations in Australia.

The New South Wales Darts Masters will be held at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong on August 14-15 before the Queensland Darts Masters is held at the Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre on August 28-29.

Going to places that made me think "Don't they play a bit of rugby league around there?"

Makes sense to head away from the Capital Cities I suppose. Even down to 2 days ticket sales for Brisbane and Melbourne were quite slow last year and they had to lower prices in Brisbane significantly.

I also assume it will be much cheaper to hire these venues compared to Melbourne Arena especially.

What makes less sense is having the Kiwi one between these two.

No but I'm still mad about it. At the very least the useless cunt shouldn't take one of the PDC slots.

First tournament of the year to have officially been got rid of:

https://www.pdc.tv/news/2020/04/01/us-d ... until-2021

US Darts Masters postponed until 2021 - makes you think there wasn’t going to be one next year.

No North American championship either for Ally Pally qualification.

Doesn't make me think there wasn't going to be one next year. PDC is so hot to get into the TV market of North America they are going to keep doing something every year to try and get it on TV here.

Would not be surprised and am fully expecting PDC will try to cram 3 qualifiers from North America some way some how into Ally Pally. Most obvious solution is to give the Continental Cup Winner from the CDC an invite. If those CDC events go forward which I expect they will just later in the year than they are planning now.

Update on World Series:

https://www.pdc.tv/news/2020/04/08/worl ... moved-2021

Australia and New Zealand events postponed until next year, which just leaves the World Series with Denmark before the finals.

World Series update:

https://www.pdc.tv/news/2020/05/29/four ... -confirmed

World Series finals to take place in Salzburg, with no “qualifying” events as the Nordic Darts Masters World Series event (the only one remaining) is due to take place after the finals itself. It’ll be interesting to see how they fill the places in the finals.

Looool, that's mad, hadn't even thought of the dates! I suggest turning the Nordic Darts Masters into a Euro Tour event, just as it always should have been

49 days until the World Series of Darts finals starts. 24 players needed if the format remains the same, 16 for the 1st round and 8 for the 2nd round. What should they do?

Top 8 in the rankings, 8 from a qualifying event and 8 invitees? Players outside of the top 8 who probably deserve an invited spot due to their form in limited tournaments this year would include Dimitri van den Bergh (Matchplay champion), Jose de Sousa (Pro tour final), Dirk van Duijvenbode (Euro tour and pro tour semi final), Jeff Smith (pro tour final and semi final), Gabriel Clemens (2 pro tour semi and 2 quarters), Krzysztzof Ratajski (pro tour winner, 2 semis and 2 quarters) Brendan Dolan (pro tour final and semi) and Devon Petersen (2 pro tour semis).

Ryan Searle may have won a pro tour but he hasn’t got past the 3rd round in all 12 of the other 13 pro tours and Ryan Joyce is out on his dreadful Matchplay performance.

You have to assume Fallon will be given an invite given she was invited to all the worldwide events. Probably will be something like 8 OoM, 8 invitees and 8 qualifiers, although it'll just be the usual suspects (maybe including Rowby-John as a local player). A bit compromised, but what can you do? It's a glorified exbo at the best of times
