Time to open this one. As well as New York and Hamilton, the World Series heads to Copenhagen next year too.

I'll be honest, I'd rather the World Series sticks to countries further afield, with this being kept as a European Tour event, but still, I can't pretend I'm not happy for Razma and Labanauskas

Agree, it's a bit of a strange choice. I do get the German event as it's a huge cash cow with the 20 thousand something audience, but the Danish ET event didn't go that well from what I remember. Not convinced this will be a success.

Prob a case that its easy to get sponsorship for european and oceanic tat and that they continue to fail at getting off the ground in asia. Dont normally group the pdc with being shit at getting funded, but they cant hack it in asia. Covering it up with more euro trash.

I'd have preferred Denmark in Euro and World Series in Brazil over this.

How the actual fuck do you think they'd just pop down to Brazil?

Good luck fitting any of the darts players in a space suit.

Yes, he won some CDC event earlier this year. Seems like most of the qualifiers will come from CDC tournaments this year and the final qualifier in NY will only have 2 spots. Seen some moaning about it, but no doubt a good step in the relationship of the PDC and the CDC.

Most of North America's top players do the CDC regularly, but hopefully it'll persuade those few who don't already to do it. They kind of lucked out that Baggish made it all the way, he looks a player, but could easily have been lost in the anonymity of the qualifiers this year...

I don't think that's actually how they are doing it, is it? I heard...
one - from the continental cup. (Danny Lauby)
six - 2 from 2 qualifiers held in Toronto, Chicago & New york (separate than the cdc events)
one - from the rolling cdc events OoM (highest ranked, not already qualified) (events 7-10, 2019 & 1-4, 2020)

But those qualifiers will be held at the CDC events right?

yes. before the actual cdc events.
which means 6 of 8 spots are open to players who are not necessarily cdc members.

True. You still have to travel there which should be good for those events themselves.

CDC already with a full plate on those weekends now it is going to be a massive cluster fuck to add another event to each day. Can already hear Part crying about how it isn't fair because insert reason here.

Add no one will know how they actually do it. Because none of these rules are written in a document provided to the public or players. That is what fat crying Part should be moaning about.
