Hardly. Ashton took 2 legs off the PDC number 7 and Suzuki took 3 legs off the PDC number 5 ffs. Warren and Harms unlucky not to be in the mix still. Veenstra and Parletti haven't turned up, but darts is all on the day. Williams smashed a PDC stalwart and took 2 legs off apparently the best player in the world. Duzza is Duzza.

A successful tournament for 4 players, 2 can count themselves unlucky and 2 know they can perform better.

Never happened. Closest were 2007, 2015 and 2017 where one got through (Gary in 2007, Glen in 2015 and 2017).

If you want to be pedantic then the BDO have one player through this year... that being Glen again.
