Yet won by a landslide most likely due to arguably the worst ever leader of a major political party in charge of the opposition. The poison reference was also regarding the description of the current Home Secretary.whereisman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:43 pmThey're very much a deserving target considering how they've spent 10 years poisoning the entire fucking country.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 7:44 pmWow that’s some poison you are spouting.Safc wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:43 pmThank u mate u and me will get on very well with this opinion the bloke is a twat in fact every tory is a twat and Patel is a coffee creamed bitchwhereisman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:23 pmAre working class people allowed to say they fucking despise him again? Re: Premier League 2020
So because they won by a landslide (On an electoral system where they're massively overrepresented) I'm supposed to like them and forget everything they've done to hurt people in this country? Whatever the capabilities or otherwise of Corbyn, I'm supposed to forget my own judgement and what I see all around me with my own eyes to suck on the Tory bell-end? The damage they have done to this country and the people in it deserves a hell of a lot more condemnation than anything I could ever say. This poison might seem unjustified if we were talking about Patel's private life, but what she has said and done on the public record is vile as a representative of the people and the country is fucking disgusting. I simply don't believe in the idea that we should be pleasant about people who cause incredible harm with the power they wield.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:52 pmYet won by a landslide most likely due to arguably the worst ever leader of a major political party in charge of the opposition. Amidst the madness of draft-gate and Wadey imploding before our very eyes, it's easy to forget Hamilton had his own roller-coaster ride of a semi-final against Whitlock coming from 5-3 down to win 6-5. Would it have made any difference had he had an easier game? Probably not, but it was always going to be difficult to get back down to earth after thatwhereisman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:20 pmPlayed decent players- Thornton, Jenkins, Wade, Hamilton but none of them really played at their best. Neither did Lewis though, made the mistake of rewatching that final not too long back- although I sort of credit Hamilton for trying to turn it into the slugfest that should have suited him more. Just played too shit to make it work.Jimmi wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:17 pmWow, really?whereisman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:15 pmJust looked it up, and the highest average Lewis faced was Wade's 94. Was that the year Nigel Heydon should have fucked Lewis out in Round 1 as well?
Maybe there should be a thread for "easiest route to a major final or tournament win" instead of the one discussed earlier today.

Not particularly a fan of Wadey, but that was devastating. Will almost certainly never win one now, and will go into the conversation as one of the best never to be world champion...HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 10:50 pmI suspect Lewis has peaked and won’t get anywhere near the top again. Re: Premier League 2020
Hamilton had to turn it into a slow struggle to have a chance. Let Lewis dictate the pace and he would have been blown away. Perhaps he was a bit too mentally drained to take his chances when Lewis offered them.thegentle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 10:55 pmAmidst the madness of draft-gate and Wadey imploding before our very eyes, it's easy to forget Hamilton had his own roller-coaster ride of a semi-final against Whitlock coming from 5-3 down to win 6-5. Lewis not so much.
Now I'm not fond of either.
Hard to believe how far they've fallen and that at one stage they were both world #2.

I think Lewis has fallen from the top a lot further. Whilst Wade was playing better back then, he is still in the world top 10 and has been for some length of time I believe. I believe Wade will win another tv tournament again at some point, I don’t believe Lewis will.Jimmi wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 10:45 amThat was back when I did actually like Wade.thegentle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 10:56 pmNot particularly a fan of Wadey, but that was devastating. If he plays like he did today with many 100+ averages, he will win another major.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 3:57 pmI think Lewis has fallen from the top a lot further. Surely the PDC are going to have to abandon the 2020 season if the pandemic continues?

Yep PL is finished in my eyes there is no room to play it back end of the year the euro tours and players Championships are more important as they are ranking events that count towards majorsFiss Plaps wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:00 pm

Could they just play out the first 9 weeks and then do a finals night? Would be better than nothing

Re: Premier League 2020
They're really between a rock and a hard place aren't they? Not like football, which has a squeak of a chance of being able to complete the season because of the 3 month break, there's always something going on in darts, and there are only so many midweeks that are feasible. They'd have to cull some events to get through the season if this doesn't abate, but which ones?Fiss Plaps wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:00 pm
