If Potter is serious, then he could very well have tickets on sale for his tournament before the BDO at this rate.

Don't force yourselves. Not sure of the exact location in this pic of the tiny side room they'll be using.

If the BDO have any sense they will hire some people to hand out flyers outside Ally Pally in December. It's probably their best bet to draw some of the Ally Pally Mob to the O2 side-room in January. And in all honesty, they should put the likes of Spineless, Waites, and Andy Hamilton on the flyer. At least the Ally Pally mob will have heard of those three. Perhaps they should also include some of those representing the BDO in this year's GSOD as well.

Even if they do all this, I still think they are in for a struggle. In particular, they will really struggle to sell tickers for the mid-week afternoon sessions.

They couldn't have picked a worse time of year if they tried, considering there's nothing to promote as a product. Lakeside was a draw but diminishing. They could give the tickets away and still have pretty much no fucker turning up.

The Thorn has literally been waiting for 2 hours.

He can't wait to buy front-row seats next to Jackie.

All tickets will be sold, so I'll have to remember to bring a chair with me on my trip to the O2.

So the announced announcement was late and now you need to wait another four days until you can actually buy some tickets. Fabulous.

"The new home of world darts." Screaming.

Definitely no clash with Q-School this year then. And no mention of Quest here... just Eurosport. An oversight, one assumes, or...

The BDO are delighted to announce that tickets for the BDO World Professional Darts Championships at the Indigo 02 will be on general sale on Friday 25th October from the O2 box office allowing for the sale of O2 priority sales.

Seating from standard up to premium plus will be available to suit all budgets both on the ground level and VIP upper level.

Des Jacklin BDO Chairman said , “this is an exciting time for the BDO with the Indigo at the O2 being the new home of world darts, ticket prices have been set so everyone can enjoy the best that the BDO have to offer as well as experiencing the magic of the O2”

The BDO World Professional Darts Championships run from Saturday 4th - Sunday 12th January and will be shown live on Eurosport and will feature the final of the Youth along with the top 40 men and top 16 ladies all attempting to take title of “World Champion”.

Inside the BDO‏ @InsidetheBDO
Might be an issue with the draw, who knows, but a little confused as to why Martin Adams, Sebastian Steyer, Ryan Hogarth, Simon Stainton and Justin Thompson are included in the draw for the World Pro Qualifier on Monday...

The flyers is a good idea but they'd get more joy hiring a few of the ex walk-on girls (or get their own) and put them on the flyers and handing them out. Know your (prospective) audience.

(edit : the flaw here might be this is assuming they have money to do any pr/marketing nevermind pay some skirts)

They don't need walk on girls.

They already have a Ladies event that is the highlight of the week. I'm sure some pictures of the players would be a huge draw.
