You'd think that the Irish pair would get in (though they won't be counting their chickens just yet!), White might be getting twitchy though

That isnt the issue. The issue here is that the PDC have let the BDO have full control of their 8 spots, totally forgetting that they are hardly likely to give a spot to someone who wins Lakeside and then promptly fucks off.

Durrant being in the last spot conveniently let them off the hook for that oversight...until yesterday.

All event winners should get a place. Just that.

And what Ginge says is also true. It's Barry's event FFS. He can invite me if he wants. The BDO would be stupid to waste one of their spot on a player who is not playing for the org anymore. That's why Barry needs to man up and invite every deserving player. Don't hide behind the BDO claiming they were the ones making the decision.

Same with Ashton last year. Barry was moaning on twitter that he would have liked to see her, but the BDO didn't pick him. Bullshit. He should have full control over who is in the event.

I won't hold my breath though
