The 32 Pro Tour qualifiers will be stronger than the Lakeshite last 32 this year.
Duzza, RVB, Kyle Anderson, Hughes, Kimi, Vinny and perhaps Cadby. Those names compare well to Harms, Mitchell, Veestra, Williams, Unty and Waites, etc.
64 to 96 would compare well ffs.
These are the round by round averages from the 2019 Worlds and 2019 Lakeside.
You are correct that the Ally Pally Last 96 (Pro Tour Qualifiers vs. International Qualifiers etc.) had a higher overall average than the Last 32 at Lakeside (87.09 v 86.24).
The Ally Pally Last 64 had a higher overall average than
any round at Lakeside apart from the actual final.

Given that the PDC have since added Duzza and Mcgeeney to their ranks, Lakeside 2020 will be even worse.

Dulla has never faced anything like Taylor in top gear.
Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

I hadn't checked the stats, but not remotely surprised at the numbers.

Mugeeney lols. I keep forgetting about him. Teeside grit Duzza was normally good for a mid-90 tournament average. We'll have to see what the conveyor belt comes up with.

But the BDO have the ladies game!! And we all know everyone wants to watch that for fucking 5 rounds. Ally Pally can't compete with only inviting 2 ladies.

Looks worse every time I see that "£5,000" next to Jamie Lewis's name on the Pro Tour earnings list. He's under serious threat of plummeting to the bottom of the top 64 if he doesn't qualify for Ally Pally.

Fully expect Noppert and Glenda to overtake Lewis, so will only take one more person to make him 110% fucked. Not sure where that one person will come from though.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.
Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

With Cadby disgracing himself in the world series and missing PC 21/22 and ET qualifier 11/12 to have an extra weeks holiday in AUS he is bang in line to miss the WC.
Would fill my black little heart with joy if the lazy thief finished this season with the ultimate faliure.

Mensur Suljovic moves ahead of Ian White on a mere 16-event countback for the #9 seed for Ally Pally, as Rowby-John Rodriguez knocks Matthew Edgar out of the provisional spots. James Wilson also does his World Championship hopes a world of good with two wins this weekend.

Well that's encouraging, much rather a young lad with potential than feckin' Mick McGowan or Kevin Burness. Barry looks favourite, been going very well on the DT. Hope they both get some TV time at the Grand Prix final, would be a good experience for them

Thanks Burton. Duzza sneaking into contention to be seeded. Could be loltimes if he's #32 at the Worlds...

Here is the provisional field for the World Championship. Due to a dominant weekend by the seeded players, very little movement on the ProTour qualification list.
