Almost halfway through the ProTour season now, plus provisional monies for TV events, table beginning to take shape. Interesting names around the fringes of the top 32!

What will the Pro Tour cut off be? 20k? If so, RVB looks like a safe bet.

Cue SKY hyping him up for days on end.

Yeah, roughly. Be interesting to see what he does when he's assured of a place at Ally Pally, will he bother trying to secure a place in the Euros (should get to the Players)

Qualifiers just for the women, more proof darts is a carnival sideshow. They can't get in any other way on merit so create a special event just so we can shoehorn them in because we need more freaks for the spectacle that is dartsmas.

Lets be honest none of the women have a chance in hell of making a real run at the title. They can't play a consistently good standard long enough. Nothing but first round fodder.

Yep, but more publicity without having to use the Milkman of Muswell HIll! lol

Fair point, I admit that if a women gets thru the first round it would generate some serious buzz for the next round. But could you imagine being that dude who lost to her?

On popular request, here's the Ally Pally tables, with money added to provisional qualifiers for ranking TV events as well as ET9 and ET10. Jamie Lewis's spot is legitimately under threat.

Big weekend for Wilson, back in not just into the Worlds, but also the seeds, and even if he's bumped out of Blackpool, he'll still be provisionally qualified

Well, would you look at that, Ratajski among the seeds

I don't think there are many scenarios where Wilson doesn't qualify for this. I read he's had an eye injury which could be an excuse for how bad his season has been so far.

There are some names on that Pro Tour list that I'd like to see bumped out tho

Yeah, think he'll be fine now, threw some good stuff this weekend. Slight problem for him is that he's unlikely to make the Grand Prix and the Euros and may not be seeded highly for the Players, so unless he goes on a run somewhere he'll quite possibly drop out of the top 32 (though that's not necessarily a death sentence, sometimes being just outside is better than being just inside)

What a load of crap this PDC is, should be last minute scheduling, coats and jackets on back of the pub with a dozen people watching. How dare the PDC take the tradition of of the game. Putting loads of money into the game and inviting Johnny foreigner to play. Fucking disgrace. Lol

I don't like the fact that a player will have to play 2 games in one session on opening night. It seems quite unfair.

We had this moan last year, they arent going to put on a night of just Last 96 games as it would be garbage for ticket sales, so there is no other option.

They are hardly up there playing tennis for five fucking hours are they?
