You and your funny time zone. I'll be sound asleep in my squalid hutch while all that's going on, dreaming about playing on the Lakeshite stage.

the first year both max hopp & james wade lost in the US Masters to North Americans
last year it was gerwyn price that was given the thumb of doom.

How many of the pdc gang will lose this year?
I'm saying one

heard 150+ throwers have entered the qualifiers which are still open

A record 191 entrants: https://www.pdc.tv/news/2019/06/28/reco ... qualifiers

Including one 'John Norman Snr'. I suppose he had to exist but the mind boggles.

Some news from Down Under, they had the DPNZ qualifiers for the World Series events, Ben Robb has qualified for Brisbane and his home event in Hamilton, and nearly made it a clean sweep but lost in the final qualifying round for Melbourne to Haupai Puha. Heta also qualifies for Hamilton and completes his own clean sweep. DPA qualifiers are this week, with Kiwis apparently able to play in the qualifiers for the NZ event

Big fan of the slip of paper for the qualifying runners-up, some, shall we say, mixed emotions:

Coverage starts on Thursday night (UK time) with the Last 16 of the World Series bit.

Tuesday 2 July - North American Qualifiers One and Two
Wednesday 3 July - North American Qualifiers Three and Four

Thursday July 4 - US Masters Last 16 (local 1200 start) and North American Darts Championship (1800 start)
Friday July 5 - US Masters Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final (1200 start)

148 entries so far: https://tv.dartconnect.com/eventplayers/pdcwsq191
The North American Championship is being shown live on PDC TV at 3am. I question the sanity of anyone in the UK willing to risk PDC TV at that hour though

I don't think I'd even stay up for the real WS event, let alone the US guys playing.
