Tour Card Race For 2020
Too soon? Well tough. Thanks to Erik. Dimitri now close to the Top 32 even after his Worlds QF money comes off. Go on.
Seems that the highest profile disaster prospects this time around are Webby, Pipe and Kist.
Erik Middelkoop @eamiddelkoop Mar 4
Tour Card Race:
In green: TC winners of 2018 who virtually will keep TC
In orange: TC winners of 2018 who virtually won't keep TC
In red: previous TC winners who virtually will lose TC
Note: Ratajski won his TC in '19, but his '18 ranking money counts (Lerchbacher same '18-'17)

With the vast riches on offer at Ally Pally these days, I think it's fair to say it's still too soon to talk about this in November lolRogg wrote: βThu Mar 07, 2019 12:49 pm Too soon? Well tough. Thanks to Erik. Dimitri now close to the Top 32 even after his Worlds QF money comes off. Go on.

Huybrechts too, which makes it 4 of the 2017 Grand Prix and 2 of the Matchplay field on course to drop out. Van de Pas and Norris not out of the woods by any means on current form, though in fairness I'd expect Norris especially to pick up given the hell he's been through recently.
Not even on that page, but Barnard might be glad he didn't go further at Ally Pally or we could have been looking at another Peter Jacques

Erik's latest tour card race.
Hopp top 16 after Ally Pally and there's JdZ. BIG Hendo in danger of quietly slipping away again.

Re: Tour Card Race For 2020
All the reds losing cards good only 1 i feel a bit for is Kist as there is a player in there but injury has ruined him i thought Norris and BVDP would be in danger but not
Norris,BVDP and Jamie Lewis cant remember the last time they had any kind of run at a euro or pro tour

Norris and Benito both got some decent money from Ally Pally this year. Norris still in danger though I reckon

Re: Tour Card Race For 2020
They still are in danger, bear in mind that this list isn't including future tournament monies (not even ET7/8) so Norris and even BvdP aren't safe by a long shot. Burton estimates that it could be as much as Β£70k required to retain a tour card, which does sound a lot, but remember that the Worlds are bigger and more lucrative than ever before. Basically, pretty much anyone who doesn't make the Worlds (barring someone like North or Schindler, who are currently quite far from qualifying but made a decent whack last year) are in danger of losing their tour cardSafc wrote: βMon May 20, 2019 5:15 pm All the reds losing cards good only 1 i feel a bit for is Kist as there is a player in there but injury has ruined him i thought Norris and BVDP would be in danger but not

Duzza moves ahead of Thornton and Norris. Lol. Will anyone else be cracking the Top 64 in their first year?

Reaching the two thirds stage now, a Hughes victory puts Robert Owen right into the danger zone. A whole host of well known names right on the cusp. Edgar, Norris, Devon, Mansell and perhaps even Cheato can't afford a complete slump, or they may make room for some of the 2018 TC holders trying to say alive.
Pipe and Webster have a hole of their own making they need to dig themselves out of, and Kist and R Huybrechts are already 6 feet under.
The fight for the best 2019 TC graduate is close as you like between Glenda and Yozza, while our lord and savior, Ward and Evetts fight it out for third.

No. 65 will also get a tour card due to Barney retiring?

Very true, I had forgotten about that. Schindler was the lucky one when Taylor retired.

Re: Tour Card Race For 2020
Not the biggest fan of these lists as they don't include provisional TV money, which will obviously have a disproportionate effect. Someone like Owen may look like he's on the cusp, but he's really up against it as he's not particularly near anything at the moment. Pipe, Woodhouse, Vindaloo and Monk on the other hand are provisionally at the Players, as well as the Worlds, where a single win against an international player would earn them Β£15kEmulsfier wrote: βMon Jul 01, 2019 3:18 pm Credit to Erik Middelkoop
