I'm sure not informing the authorities is against the rules as well. Sure it is in other sports.

Bailey in the final again against Steve Fitzpatrick. Significantly lower standard though, hit a few averages in the 60s in the group stages and only hit 70 odd to win the semi. Lower standard in general, only one average above 90 from what I can make out

Fitzpatrick wins 6-5, after Bailey missed match darts to win 6-4. Gentle mid-80 averages, but that's not too bad considering the pretty disastrous starts both players had. Not that it makes too much difference with so many events still to go, but I'm sure the other big guns in the field are happy Bailey didn't win again

Heta wins, 100.2 average for the game, Puha not bad at 92.8, was higher for much of the game. Long day for these lads, nearly 11pm now!

Final results:
DPA 5: Ben Robb 6-3 Koha Kokiri

DPA 7: Damon Heta 6-1 Raymond Smith

Strange weekend so far, some surprising names doing well. Heta remains out in first with an event to come tomorrow too

Breathing space between Heta and the rest, with 20 points up for grabs for winning an event, no matter what he'll be top after tomorrow. Smith beginning to make a move too

Bailey beats match-fixing bastard David Platt 6-5 in today's final and jumps up to 2nd. Beat Heta in the quarters, so he closes the gap to 23 points

Early exits for all of the front runners, with Gordon Glen Mathers beating Ben Robb in the final. Heta remains 23 waarde ahead going into tomorrow's double-header. Kinda surprised Raymond Smith hasn't really made a push yet, looked a good player by Australian standards from what I saw of him last year

Heta draws a blank in the first event today, Bailey wins to close the gap to a mere 3 points, with everyone else way back

This time Bailey draws a blank, though Heta doesn't quite take full advantage, losing in the final to Gordon Glen Mathers after what had been a good day for him up until that stage. Mathers wins his second title of the weekend yet is still miles away. One more event tomorrow

Raymond O'Donnell beats Shane Tichowitsch 6-4 in the final. Very scratchy day for Heta, knocked out in the last 8 with a sub-80 average for the day, but with Bailey slipping up early he again has clear daylight between himself and the rest. Bumper long weekend at the start of May with 6 events

Two trans-Tasman finals today, Heta beats Kokiri in the first event and loses to Puha in the second event. Ally Pally is oh so close now, 5 events left, one tomorrow and the next four in a few months
