What a win from my Aspy. I always knew he would do it. It just goes to show that if you support someone long enough, eventually he or she will come through.

Didn't realize Nathan Aspinall's nickname is "The Aspy".

That explains your affection for the BDO.

My Aspy is now major ranking winner. I have no doubt the matchplay will be his next major victory beating MVG in the final.

8 qualifiers each from the Challenge and Development Tours for next year's UK Open, keeping the 16 shamateur qualifiers. I guess the 8 highest DT players who don't get a tour card won't be quite of the same standard as their Challenge Tour equivalents, but it's not as if the Challenge Tour players made much of a splash this time around, and it's good to give the young players some experience
thegentle wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:20 pm Doesn't say there, but I guess if there's a player who does both, they'll get in via the Challenge Tour, freeing up a space via the Development Tour
No talk about this? Seems a pretty significant move for next year's UK Open

Wont make much difference really will it, none are going to be around once the event gets to the vinegar strokes.

No talk about it because it isn't that significant and your doing enough talking for everyone as it is.

You double quoted yourself on the topic, ffs as demented as skweeshit is I don't think even that idiot has quoted himself twice.

Cannibal as cordial as usual :D

Honestly I think the change is fair enough. Though the DT players can enter the CT as well, so at least it would have made sense if the extra places go to CT players if a player gets in via both tours.
