A broken clock is right twice a day.

Very true, but Oche is no worse with his statements regarding BDO players.

White has the ability and is a dangerous opponent and over the weekend deserved his win.

I'd be genuinely happy for him if he won a TV event, but it's just so disappointing for one of the most talented players in the world to have such a poor record on the telly
He seems to be quite relaxed on the ET events and there is footage of him playing about on the stage while the presentations are going on so he seems to be enjoying himself, joking with the crowd etc..
It is so weird that he gets stage fright when it comes to the majors.. maybe the ET wins will help him overcome this..
Time will tell I suppose

King first man through, soon to be joined by Beaton most likely because obviously

And it's Michael Smith who's the next man through, just ahead of Beaton and Spawn of Rod. I could imagine Smiffy just wants to keep his head down and make sure he's never at the qualifiers again

Disappointments for Dobey who had battled back from a pretty hopeless position against Edhouse, and Searle, who was quite the opposite early doors against Norris. Willie O'Connor continues his resurgence with a first ET qualification of the year

Beaton makes it 8 from 8 with another successful qualification. Surely he'll be seeded before too long, he's in the top 16 on the ProTour OoM so all he has to do is maintain that until the next cut-off comes around

As does Ryan Harrington! Don't know if he'd even made one ET event before, let alone a Friday double qualification! Disappointments for Searle, Ross Smith and Brown, all lost against opponents I'm sure they'd have expected to beat

Down at the bottom of the list, Ryan Joyce may be starting to turn his season around, got back up into the provisional Worlds qualification places recently, and a double ET qualification here to boot

Jamie Lewis was 4-2 up on Kevin Burness and lost. He'll be plummeting down the rankings come January.
