Boris v Askew Jr. in the first semifinal. Hendriks led 4-3 but got completely outplayed in the last 2 legs.

Ladley whitewashes Griffin.

Incredibly, he's the youngest of the 3 players in that side of the bracket... at 43.

Ritchie Edhouse guaranteed to be the CT leader after this lot I think. He can have Barney's spot in PC1...

Boris in the final. Some very consistent business at the back end of this. 89 93 92 94 90.

At a glance, this puts him somewhere around the top 6 of the CT rankings. Hmm.

Prins wins. Ladley did badly. We'll surely be seeing Prins in some PCs if he beats Boris, good god.

Call me crazy, but I don't mind Dave Prins. He's kind of the poor man's Paul Hogan. Better than perennial PDC neverwases like Ladley any day.

That said, Koltsov's the preferred option as winner, of course.

Boris starts 180 125 140 and loses the leg. That could be the end already.

Hoping for 3 open slots in the upcoming PC fields, not too fussed about the players from 4th down (despite my earlier Prins comments).

But lest we forget, people now holding a ranked victory over the current Lakeside runner-up and former two-time champion, following the last 11 days of darts:

Jarred Cole
Lee Evans
Callan Rydz
Stuart Kellett
George Gardner
Michael Rasztovits
Daniel Ayres
Lukasz Sawicki

A true who's who of the game.
