Now that the good darts are over it is time to remember the single greatest leg in the sport's history
https://www.buzz.ie/sport/now-good-dart ... ory-312129
The worst leg in darts history.

That is the only way to describe what happened between Martin Adams and Anthony Fleet when they clashed in 2010 at Lakeside.

The best way to describe the difference between the BDO, the darts that nobody likes to watch and PDC, the one that everyone likes to watch is basically like when Lionel Hutz went to Marge telling him about the 'truth'.

Well we could start with the fact that they still have over 300 tickets for the Final left, and havent even sold out half the room for the usually packed first Sunday session.

The fact that this event is actually taking place is a howler in its own right.

Oh dear. https://news.paddypower.com/darts/2019/ ... -mitchell/

BDO Darts: Scott ‘Dog’ Mitchell can bite back in Lakeside timewarp
Warning: Watching the BDO World Championships may induce nineties flashbacks and hallucinations. Make any side-effects profitable with our traders' tips....

THUD……THUD……THUD….”FIIIVE scored”. That’s right – just when you thought the world championship darts action was over for another year, the PDC’s smelly uncle stumbles in the door.

While the PDC’s millennial fanbase are commencing an inevitably failed attempt at ‘Dry January’, the loyal purists of the BDO will flock in the low hundreds to the Lakeside Country Club in Surrey for the BDO World Darts Championship. Flock probably isn’t the correct word as I’m convinced they’ve been locked in there since 1994.

If you like averages in the low 80s, nicknames like ‘Duzza’, ‘Yozza’ and ‘Robbo’, and The Fratellis – Chelsea Dagger – then you’ll love the BDO!

I’ve taken it upon myself to try to flag up some value in the betting markets while the darts traders prepare for the mental slog of trading this tournament.

Fanatics will be issuing idle threats to boycott PaddyPower again, then. Issue is every betting company will have the same attitude.

They havent put anything on Facebook yet, maybe they will tomorrow.

And not a word about proper darts, best of order, regulated board, avgs don't matter anymore or any less, family, loyalty, Selectas...
That so called journalist deserves a slap!

How delicious. Remembering that Paddy Power sponsored the PDC event on the BBC and really went the extra mile with it too.

Still chuckling at 'the PDC’s smelly uncle stumbles in the door'...
