Yet they give no respect to a maturing player like Dootson.
This is the year of Dootson. Rumor is he has the wallies of Jocky to bring him luck.

We have the democracy our masters choose to give us.JeffJeffJeffJeff!!!! wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:12 pmAnd you think that we have a democracy in the UK?
Referendum, asking the people three years back is democracy.
Once the facts emerge after the referendum almost three years on and then asking the people is totally undemocratic.
Am I missing something?

No you're not MH. I don't like speaking politics on a forum mate. This is no democracey it doesn't matter whether you voted for leaving the european union or not. If you wanted to leave you are a Knuckle scraping racist Neanderthal. If you wanted to stay you are a lily livered snowflake. In the US in 1776 they tried to change that by breaking with Britain for so called freedom. Again its all bullshit, look at the US now 1/2 the country love Trump the other 1/2 despise him.M H wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:23 pmWe have the democracy our masters choose to give us.JeffJeffJeffJeff!!!! wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:12 pmAnd you think that we have a democracy in the UK?

It doesn't matter who shouts the loudest (right or wrong) the ballot box is all we have.
Apologies for this on a public forum.

He deserved that... He won three TV titles this year for starters.... (Should have been four but we'll settle with the three he won)....Randall wrote:God knows how gando won the public vote.

You can vote for whichever party you want but only two will ever get to power, most of the time the figureheads are just interchangable.M H wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:23 pmWe have the democracy our masters choose to give us.JeffJeffJeffJeff!!!! wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:12 pmAnd you think that we have a democracy in the UK?

However he's still winning tournaments which I guess at the end of the day counts most.Randall wrote:His constant crying more than offsets it.BeppeBergomi wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 11:46 pmHe deserved that... I had to chuckle at Burton's awards predictions on twitter..
Pro tour player of the year.. Barney
Newcomer.. Eddie Dootson
Young player.. Wes Newton..
He is getting an English sense of humour...

Re: The 2019 PDC Annual Awards
In fairness, before this year he didn't moan as much. I used to really like him. This year he had a few questionable incidents but I still prefer him to Van Gerwen honestly. And it was always going to be one of these two winning those awards, and it's going to be the same unless Wright or Cross really has a huge year which I can't see.
If you look at any random poll as to who people think will win X TV event, Gando and MVG are always nearly tied in public opinion, despite MVG clearly being superior, and always the odds on favourite when Ando even in his best form was something like 3/1 or 4/1 to win events. It's clear the public favour Anderson which I can understand, due to MVG's constant celebrations, interviews etc which paint him really arrogant. These happen much more frequently than the odd Gando moan (which admittedly became more frequent recently, but still)
Spread positivity and love. BDO4LIFE

Talk politics as much as you like mate, there's loads of threads and hopefully more to come. MVG is always good in defeat and gives respect to the winner. He does do alot of selfies etc with the crowds after a match. The Thorn wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 1:05 pmIn fairness, before this year he didn't moan as much. I used to really like him. Not sure if MVG is respectful after a defeat. He waffles on about what he did wrong not really showing much acknowledgment to the winner!
