Every time Durrant wins something on a stage and I see his reactions, I wonder again if he's really going to swap that out for jobbing in PDC last 16's.

Well played final though, there's no denying that.

Another top class performance from Durrant. Veenstra did pretty well to get to the final here, as I said before I'm really interested how he'd do if he switched. Well maybe in 2020

Oh. Durrant won of 5 of the last 6 sets. Looks like Dicky ended up where I expected him to be for the whole game. For a while tho he was doing much better than I'd expected. Finally a twinkle of a pleasant surprise in the nightmare.

A weekend-of-his-life blast from Smith-Kneel is the only thing keeping Durrant from holding all the emrm big BDO titles at the same time. He really is done here. Done and done.

I see him doing Day 1 of Q-School, getting pumped by Shayne Burgess or something and just going home.

In the funny darts, he must be well on his way to becoming a legend. I wonder if we could find anyone sufficiently traumatised to put him in their all-time Top 10.

I don't have any ill will against the guy himself, but if his PDC career (assuming it happens) turns out to be Ted Hankey v2, proper darts will never live that down. He is 48, you know. (To borrow a formerly popular phrase.)

Wikipedia :D
BDO 2005-
PDC 2019
Current world ranking (BDO) 1
Announced on November 15th 2018 he will play at the Q-School in January and try to earn one of the available Tour Cards for the PDC circuit. ‘Duzza’ confirmed his PDC move. ”I made the BDO4LIFE statement because I was sick to death of the PDC question. This year there are no sanctions, to my knowledge. My finances, tax and mortgage are all sorted. I have held discussions at work and completed four meetings with PDC managements. Therefore I will be going to Q-School irrespective on how I do at Lakeside”, Durrant said.
