Per Skau and Conrad Daniels are some other slow players.

Dennis Priestley was slow with the first dart, but pretty normal paced with the second and third darts.

Priestley was indeed slow but at least he was also good so made it a bit easier to watch.

Some of the Yanks are abysmally slow. That infamous clip of Terry Down mentions they had to implement a 5 minute limit there, which is really pretty tragic.

Surely throwing that slowly you put yourself off as much as the opponent. You're not giving yourself a chance to get into any rhythm.

And Mensur Suljovic, playing slow, upset Gary Anderson 13-9 in the Last 16 at the 2015 World Matchplay. So Anderson had clearly not learned lessons from the Kirchner match at the 2015 World Championship.

To be fair to the Yank, if you showed just the board while Rob Cross or Kevin Painter were on a finish, you'd get a similar result.

Forget about smithy, he had a unusual stroke but every so often he made it work for him. Definitely one that put his opponent off lol.

Smiffy. A great consistent player from the late 1990s to mid 2000s.

At the 2009 World Championship, I remember Smiffy beating McDine 4-3 from 0-3 down, and Smith had something like 32 140+ scores in the match without hitting any 180s.

Incredibly Smiffy is still going, only lost his tour card at the start of the year (albeit he had to win it back at one stage), and he played at the UK Open qualifiers this year too. 'Only' 49, I had thought that he'd be a lot older, never looked young even in his pomp!
