Well, I feel a bit dirty for cheering against Sully, but well done Noppy. Not the best of games, but he got it together when it mattered at the end

Burton say Richardson beating Schindler in the final is the only outcome that can prevent Noppert from qualifying now.

Of the winners in Europe this year (MVG, Hopp, Clayton, Suljovic, White), only Clayton remains and probably not for much longer.

The Grand Slam race is completely off my radar but some strange winner tonight will suddenly have a chance, one imagines.

Only Clayton is currenly in the Grand Slam at the moment. Plenty of highly-ranked players without titles this year
