From Burton..
Darius Labanauskas probably needs to win one match at either ET10 or ET11 to qualify for the European Championship. Krzysztof Ratajski probably needs to win three matches at ET10 and ET13 combined to qualify for the European Championship

I'm predicting a run for Sexy Steve this weekend to confirm his place at the European Championship...

Nope. Kinda strange that they're still including the old version of the event with the current European Tour event (since '12), they really don't have anything in common besides the name.

The early editions were before the European Tour, as we know it now, started. Things were still chopping and changing.

It was a standalone event in those early days I think, just had the same name. I believe it was setplay when Stompe won it, and some considered it to be a 'major'.

You're right. He made the Dutch ET last year, lost to Kist on stage.

Meanwhile Dimitri not an even a seed in these, look. Miserable.

Wright has withdrawn apparently, explaining the shape of the HNQ draw. Extra HNQ in, Beaton 16th seed.

3 players who would have been seeded are skipping ET11 in Maastricht. 5 players who would have been seeded are skipping ET12 in Riesa.

Maastricht:
Rob Cross
Michael Smith
Gary Anderson

Riesa:
Michael van Gerwen
Rob Cross
Michael Smith
James Wade
Gary Anderson

Interesting to see Cross and Smith both missing events, not that I can blame them with the amount they are playing
