Yes this basically. Anderson can't exactly have been surprised by Price's antics and yet his head still went pretty quickly.

Incredible as well that this is just his 4th year as a professional darts player.

It's not the rocketing rise of Cross, but it's still quite the speed.

Compared to a certain yellow simpleton who was in a major final before Price even took darts up full-time and still remains on a grand total of 0 major wins...

Anderson carries shit around with him. He was seething about Price before a dart was even thrown. His little quip after beating Unty about Clayton being the best Welsh player demonstrated that, not that he gets involved in antics of course. Great if you can channel the fizzin but a disaster in the making otherwise.

I think there came a point where Anderson wanted to make some flamboyant protest about THE ANTICS BOYS more than he wanted to win the final. He fucked himself up and the process began months ago probably. Although I can't honestly remember them ever playing each other before... is there direct history?

Completely agreed and I hope the PDC have picked up on the bolded point. Hinks did nothing to diffuse the situation.

I've not liked him since that massive blunder in Cristo v Wezzzz the first time at the Worlds all those years ago.

If the DRA fine Price or Anderson, I think they are being ridiculous. They want entertainment and drama, so fining them would only discourage that.
