Non-"switchers" watch 2018/19 (with poll)

After today's news, the obvious question. 8-)

The poll includes the current top 8 of the BDO rankings, plus Adams and Parletti for shits and giggles. Kind of depressing actually that the top 8 right now include basically all the usual suspects of "will never leave" discussions over the years... You can select as many poll options as you want, the poll runs until the start of the new BDO season only.

(You won't be able to submit a completely empty vote; in case you actually believe that all 10 will be entering, leave a comment.)

McGeeney will switch. Williams might.

The rest probably won't.

I went for mcgeeney and Williams on the assumption lakeside will exist in some form.
If not, surely all.

You've voted the complete opposite.

Look at the poll and read its heading.

Randall you buffoon.

I'm still thinking about it. The insane farmer is now surprisingly puzzling...

I considered him.

Do you remember his excuse last time? It was something like "people have tweeted to me that I am not good enough, so why should I bother going".

Oh dear me. Yeah he's going on the No list.

Reasons the following won't be attending Q school:

Martin Adams too old and not enough shandy on offer or giggles
Wesley Harms too chicken shit
Scott Mitchell too far by tractor
Ross Mcnoloyalty too many fences need paint, lawns need mowed, and hair needs cut
Dave Parletti requires travel insurance so he is out.
Gary Jobson too stupid to even realize there is another code
Scott Waites too many cabinets and doors to hang

- Waites, Jobson and Harms don't have the ambition and won't even consider it.

- Adams is too old and he wouldn't bother anyway.

- Montgomery and Mitchell will grandstand about going, but end up not bothering.

What was the reason FcLoyalty gave for not entering this year's? Wasn't it something to do with having promised to grace some cloakroom in Dumfries? The deal gets sweeter every year as the old men's explanations become ever more surreal.

I don't remember.

But he said after his experience at the GSOD that he was considering going. I can imagine some of them just can't be arsed.

He made a promise to attend the West Fries Open.

We should hopefully hear some wacky excuses over the next few months...
It is obviously a question that will be asked a few times at GSOD

You've got 40 days to make up your mind. Significantly less than these players will have, mind.

My early vote, subject to change (which I've enabled for this poll): Adams, Harms, Mitchell, Ross, Parletti and Robbo won't be there, so I'm expecting Durrant, McGeeney, Waites (!) and Williams to take the plunge.

Edit: Sadly I see that the polling engine doesn't keep track of how many people have submitted an entry, just how many selections have been made.

McGeeney is understandable giving his comments but what's with all the Jim Williams likelihood? Oh

I don't know some of these guys,
but I would think martin adams won't -
he's winding down & maybe the social aspect of darts has overtaken the hunger.
would think he's got a good thing going with exbo's anyways.

something to consider about these bdo stars who do exbos is, if they do go for it
and end up on the challenge tour, there's the possibility, for some, that that could cheapen their demand (fees) in exbo's.

wesley harms - nope, he won't either. think he's set in his ways.

would like to see ross the boss enter because I like saying ross the boss.
