And also meaning the Challenge Tour players (who get in Pro Tours off the CTOOM) have the best of both worlds...

Fran Carragher @FJC_180
Who can come along on dates that suit them and Nick 25 ranking points off a bdo tour player who might have needed the extra points for the chance to get to Lakeshite
These two are acting like children.

Most Challenge Tour players are amateurs like themselves. Why should they be denied the opportunity to play in BDO events?
I kind of see his frustration but he surely already loses all the time to people who don't need the points for Lakeside.

If being deadly serious about qualifying for the world prolol were a requirement for entering the opens there would be barely anycunt in the room nowadays would there?

Exactly. More evidence that nobody actually seems to agree what the BDO "tour" is supposed to be for. In the end, it all comes down to their fear that "PDC players" might simply be better.

Back when the Challenge Tour still had open sign-ups, you sure didn't see the PDC regulars such as Hine or Barnard complaining about somebody like Paul Hogan coming in and taking their money.
