So you are claiming Martin that the BDO haven't actually confirmed they want the event there then?
I was told to call back on Friday and also told that meetings have been held but as of now there is no confirmation.

Common sense tells us were there confirmation tickets would be on sale

They're at it again then, rumours of an announcement, some things never change despite the latest ''new era''

Pretty tough for Labanauskas, actually...the Nordic Tour closes on the same weekend as the Masters and he's not guaranteed to finish in the two Worlds spots yet. If the BDO makes him choose beforehand he could end up without either.

A grand total of 24 people have now put posts on the Lakeside Darts FB page asking about when tickets are going on sale etc.... and all have been ignored.

Some announcement due tomorrow about the whole affair, it seems.

Email sent 21st August (am)
Good morning. The tickets for the darts are usually on sale by now, when will they be going on sale for January 2019's event? Many thanks
Email received in reply 29th August (pm)

Thing is to get the funding they have to confirm TV which is looking unlikely. Apart from Premier and Freesports which no fucker watches.

I see that Mr Jacklin has posted on the Lakeside Darts FB page this morning.

Has he posted to answer the numerous questions about what is happening with Lakeside tickets, I hear you ask?

Man, that's gotta wind people up. Ha. Absolute silence on the World Pro while continuing to use main BDO channels to run a travel agency.

Should someone call Lakeside right now he or she would be told that they're now hoping to know by Wednesday if the event's going ahead.

It's not a done deal right now but that will likely change.

If only the PDC handled their affairs this way they'd be as successful as the BDO!
