I like Paddy Power's approach the 9 dart fund to the crowd, the chairs in the front with the wrist bands, all very interesting bringing new ideas to sport entertainment. Won't be long before they are offering a new era of free hot dogs, cheap pints, and free transports for county teams across the great British Isle.

Assume that's PaddyPower's work. They've done well to turn betting into a brand.

Like Ginge said earlier they've taken the promotion of the event to a whole new level.

You don't see the likes of Coral or BetVictor going all out on the UK Open or Matchplay.

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

They're presenting themselves more as a humorous sporting magazine than a generic betting site. They love a good publicity stunt: http://www.luckygenerals.com/campaigns/paddy-shave/
