Apparently Unterbuchner has said that he'll attend Q-School if his piss palace R1 match is on the Monday.

He may as well attend it if his first round match is on the Saturday too.

Aaprently Durrant is switching to the PDC. He's also getting a 'DUZZA' tattoo on his forearm, getting blonde highlights and an ear ring.

Turns out Unterbuchner's about-face during the GSOD was just a heat of the moment thing. The apparently final decision for this year, no Q School yet as initially stated a couple of months back:

I wish he did Q-School but I wonder, are there players who don't switch because they expect everyone else to go, therefore they are expecting an easy payday at Lakeside and the other "big" events

I think it's more that he's still trying to figure out if he wants to go pro or not. He's working some sort of warehousing/logistics job, and it's not one he could easily switch to part-time (or maybe he hasn't inquired yet, I dunno for sure), unlike e.g. Gabriel Clemens who was still full-time when he got his tour card at the start of the year but has since reduced his work schedule, thanks to an apparently very supportive employer. From the sound of things Unterbuchner could be using 2019 to put everything in motion, same as Noppert did who basically announced his switch some 15 months before it happened.

On another note, will the PDC finally get around to announcing Q School officially today? Getting later every year... The PDPA originally suggested 27 Nov as the info release date, then when that didn't happen AWL tweeted "1st December more than likely", but of course that date has passed, too.

Wouldn't be the first mate. Ask Adams, Duzza et al

Sure to come in handy when the farmer starts lining up his excuses...

Yeah, I can't work out where he's got that figure from either.

Up there with Mitchell's famous "I don't travel 2 hours from home" claim for absolute nonsense.

And qualified for every single Euro Tour event, although I'm not sure even that would get the count up to 40.

Add all the TV events including World Series invites and it's easy :D

Kyle McKinstry doing Q-School apparently. One of the more interesting players in the Lakeside field so that's good.

Sorry if you’ve been asked this a million times. But would you give up the day job to focus on darts for a few years?

Scott Mitchell @scottydogdart 20h
Not currently, but I’d never say never, it doesn’t fit with my life off the board plus I don’t like the M6 !!!!
..

Scott Mitchell @scottydogdart 19h
I never say never, one day I may get that chance, for now contented where I am. I’m a Wolfe fan too, he gave me his shirt from our final, one of my most treasured possessions , no matter how many stars on your shirt, only real champions knows how to loose !!!

So he'll never travel to the northern events or North Wales or Scotland I guess
