Only has to look at harms .

I doubt Mitchell and Harms will switch.

Those two will probably become the BDO's top players if the rest are successful at Q School.

Players like that stay with the BDO because they have a chance to be World Champion.. There's no chance of that happening if they join the PDC. That's why O'Shea never switched, but he still never crossed the line.

The lure of that 100k....
Has the prize fund been confirmed yet?

It has to the players, yes. Exactly the same as last year.

The lure of the half mill doesn't tempt them for some reason.....

Will the prize money ever rise, hasn't for a while now.. More likely to go down I guess.

Adams?
Had to say.

Maybe Unty for a year or so.
Can't think he will hang around after this week?
Someone over the road:

In an interview with Dutch TV yesterday, he [Unterbuchner] said he might try Q-school this year.

Would be an absolute mug not too.
The new rules are going to leave the bdo very short handed.
Can see lakeshite 2020 being adams, Fordham, Hankey etc.

Randall you do realise theres only about 30 cards available.

Lakeside 2020 will have some Challenge Tour players involved

Let's be honest, does anyone care? He's a mid carder PDC wise and won't add much

A lot of people care. Mid carder or not

Randall doesn't realise the sky is blue half the time to be fair.
Can the bdo survive losing durrant after all the others?
Tv execs couldn't be happy surely?

If the Q-School failures choose to hammer the Challenge Tour for its numerous rewards, that's going to be an extraordinary series of events. The top end of the OoM could to some extent resemble the Lakeside field. For the love of Dave Askew, give it extra tour cards. You don't need a brain to work that out.

The cunt switched this year but fucked back there almost immediately. He was good on the CT OoM after the first few events.

To be fair, the BDO is now so devoid of truly well-known players that you can't sell its tournaments on the participants anyway. I would think the Discovery/Eurosport guys realize that. The real issue will be if the BDO can at least deliver a credible TV production or if it will be a 247.tv shoestrings deal for all three tourneys.

One guy on the German darts forum said that he lives in the same (not that large) town as Unterbuchner and had never heard of him before the Grand Slam. Sums it all up as far as the BDO's recent ability to market its best players goes.
