"Nowhere in the press release does it say that you can go to Q-School and you'd still be welcome back to the BDO. So I'm a little bit confused."

But it does say that in the press release?

Durrant is an absolute fool and should stay in the BDO for his own good if he's still having doubts even after the Jacklin announcement.

I don't understand what his issue is with the European Tour. He was doing that for YEARS in the BDO for a small percentage of the prizes in the PDC.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

Positively surreal. Absolutely bananas.

When I read "I won't rush to make any decision" I almost choked to death. It took him about three years to decide to make Jim Williams make the decision for him and now he can't decide if... you see where this is going.

One thing is certain, you would not have wanted durrant in the trenches with you.
You wouldn't want the dithering prick in Sainsburys with you.

The human equivalent of that ketchup scene from the Simpsons.

Just replace the bottles with the PDC and BDO logos and you have him.

This was McKinstry in June. He is a funny one. Averaged 112 against the nutter farmer today apparently, pity he won't be at the Grand Slam instead of throbbo and the lads.

Pity any of them will be at GSoD

Q-School is Jan 17-20, so that's that largely wiped out. Or this all AN ELABORATE BLUFF.
How tedious. Begging for a tour card on live TV remains an option but not something you'd want to do twice.

Yeah think he might actually use these as an excuse when he bottles Q-School in January

He's nearly 50, you know.

You can almost see him turning up for Q-School Day 1, (un)intentionally messing it up then sacking off the rest saying 'my head just isn't right after Lakeside' etc.

I wouldn't rule out any crap he might spout to avoid admitting he hasn't got the bollocks.

Don't know about switcher but DEANO's coming back. With 'a vengeance,' no less.

https://www.live-darts.com/category/dar ... -20180919/
"I've been playing again for about three months and I'm actually starting to enjoy it a little more now," Winstanley told Live Darts.

"My shoulder's getting better so anything could happen.

"They still won't operate, everyone seems to think I got operated on but they've been absolute rubbish. [what?]

"I went to a proper Olympic sports physio and they've been working with me and it's getting better."
...
He added: "The game's still there and I've shown little bits of it in BDO comps.

"There were signs of brilliance and signs of Stevie Wonder but it's not over yet.

"I'd like to say 2019 without a doubt.

"I'm just going to sit in a corner and do my own thing.

"No more fines, no more DRA, I’m coming back with a vengeance.

"I think they [the DRA] miss me! But you learn to be a bad boy and things go wrong so just be a good lad and things can go right."

Thank goodness he visited a 'proper' Olympic sports physio rather than one of those meaningless exhibition ones with giant foam hands.

Was Deano a bit of a cunt on the oche or something? Why did the DRA get involved with him so often?

Aye.

But he was always quite likeable. A bit like Chizzy.
