Really? I din not even consider suicide yesterday after Inter handed the Champions League qualification to Tottenham on a silver plate let alone if Gary gets an early exit.

OK I will be disappointed if, (heaven forbid), it happens but then life goes on....

He clearly obstructed Gary not once but twice.

For a little less than that Jackpot was suspended from the Qualifiers earlier this year.

I'm sorry but I'm very angry.

Haven't forgot that don't worry.... But if you beat me fairly and squarely I'll just say congrats and move on....

I just hope we won't see a Gary v Price final once again....

sennafan24 wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 7:41 am Out of the PDC finals I have watched, 2003, 2004, 2007, and 2015 are the clear standouts. The two Lewis vs Gando finals were pretty good as well.

The Taylor vs Manley finals and the first Taylor vs Part final were duds. But at least you could marvel at Taylor's skill. The Part vs Shepherd was the absolute worst I have seen.
Shepherd seemed overwhelmed by everything in the first 4 sets. Once Part is 4-0 up in such a huge match, it's unlikely you'll get it back, although Shepherd did get it to 5-2 and Part showed clear relief on his face when he went 6-2 up instead of it being 5-3.

Lewis vs. Hamilton in 2012 was the worst PDC World Championship final I've seen. They were clearly both knackered from the events of the night before. It was a pretty flat match throughout, with Lewis the one with the extra gear at the few crucial checkout moments.

Huh? I thought that was a really good final. Taylor 1-0 up, Dudbridge 2-1 up, Taylor 3-2 up, 3-3, Taylor then goes away to 6-3 before Taylor wins 7-4. Of course, not as good as the classic 2003 and 2004 finals which overshadowed 2005, but the 2005 final was a good one. I didn't expect Dudbridge to fade away somewhat after the 2005 Premier League. I thought he'd be a more consistent challenger.

Some people were more impressed by Barney at 2005 Lakeside than by Taylor at the Circus Tavern in 2005. The cross-code Masters of Darts event in Holland in February 2005, saw Taylor beat Barney 4-0 and 5-2 in sets in their matches in the group stage and semi final respectively.

man oh man. it starts tomorrow.
I love opening rounds when any and everything is still possible and reality hasn't fully dug her claws in yet.
I don't even know who I realy want to win the trophy.
this much I know

prefer gary anderson over mvg. gary checks the boxes and throws an exciting game.
so does mvg.

if wade tippy toes his way into the winner circle, it'd give hope to darn near everyone. thieves especially!

mensur or ratajski would be fun too and what a fricken story each would make.

peter wright or RVB would also be sweet. a lotta eggs on a lotta faces.

will crack and scramble whitlock into that mix too.

either michael smith or gurney could win it on their talent alone. shirts and walk-on songs be damned. wouldn't begrudge either one.

If Chuck Puleo, or "Champion Chuck" as he is known here in the US, wins a leg in his opening round match against Dimitri Van den Bergh, it's a "Cinderella story" as far as I'm concerned.

Wasn't the best standard if memory serves.
Taylor was just doing enough in that period it seemed to me.

Bunting could be a dark horse. As could Clayton if he gets passed DVDB

The upper section of that side of the draw is wide open. Price has the best draw out of the top contenders. Here is who he is scheduled to play.

- Kyle Anderson (3rd round)

- Ian White/Steve West (4th round)

- Wright/Cullen (QF)

White is crap on TV. Wright has mostly averaged in the early 90s lately. Cullen blows hot and cold.

First darts match I ever watched so have a soft spot for that one. Seem to remember Dudbridge later on experimenting with sweat proof shirts (unless that was Sid spouting shite).

Wayne Mardle is doing 1 minute previews of each first round game on TungstenTales YouTube channel if of interest to anyone. Not as insightful as the ones Chris Mason did last year.

Lucky you.

My first memory of watching darts was when I was 6 or 7. I have a vague memory of watching the Lakeside where George lost to Part in the final.
