Oh, no. I speculated months ago that they might use Deta... she'll only be at the sessions where the women play, I assume.

Maybe she'll be great!

Hope they put her on for Anastasia's match. She'll be cheering Ryan Joyce to win.

Tough draw for Cross from the start. JdZ has a very good A-game. Then you also get DvdB, Clayton or Bunting who all played really well recently.

Wade v Ratty might be a cracker, too.

Barney will be back to good form because it's the World Championship (where he tends to show up at or near his best) and now he's more settled as to where his career is ending up. And I think Cross is going to go hard on the practice board to get back to form, and he won't want that world title going from his grasp without a big fight.
Barney would have to seriously play out of his skin to beat fatpot, then MvG then possibly Wade for a semi against gando or gurney. If he can do that he deserves a place in the PL

Cross would beat Clayton, bunting or Dimitri then Bully or Mensur and possibly price or crusty..

Bloody hell, this is very open this year..
Certainly not just about MvG and Gando
I think it's more open this time than any other.

After mardle said that he thought whoever won out of MvG Gando would win it, Barry Hearn got it spot on when he said.. " I disagree, you could toss a coin with 32 names on it any any of them could win.
I am not sure about 32 but certainly anyone from the top 10 should fancy their chances

Well what a draw indeed,Gerwen is under big pressure, but he loves that......Ando for me will take his third Worlds and i predict he will do it with a massive record of some sort.

Not sure I agree, I think MVG is struggling with the pressure

Cross will go out in round 1. Can't handle the pressure of being world champ.

By the way, in total 70 tour card holders have qualified for Ally Pally this year. Insert "PDC only cares about X players" whine here.

Would have been much better off staying at #3

Chizzy will come through that first match unless he averages 82.

Not really much he could have done about it - he only got up to #2 at the weekend because Wright only defended £8k of the £20k he was holding onto
