Oh dear me.
Durrant on one of the social vid things was pleading for people to turn up and watch because of how dead the event is.
He is fully understanding of this decision he let Jim Williams make for him in January, right?

Doubtful it has many outings left.
Bdo reserves must be running low.

What happened to Trina? She was once better than all these girls (although peak Ashton would have given her a good game), but over the last 5-10 years her game has gone to shit. She's not particularly old either - about the age at which Phil Taylor was playing the most consistently brilliant darts ever.

Was she or was there just honsellar to play against?
Can't remember any other female player of note.

There was no competition for her really apart from Hoenselaar. However the level she played at still puts her above anyone, maybe apart from Ashton. Though you have to factor in the change in dartboards so I'd still say Trina comes out on top.

I Would have seen all her titles but have zero memory of them.
Women's darts was never relevant.

Craig is obviously right. There were thousands of fans just outside the view of the camera. And the BDO officials must have left the audience mics at home, hence the room seemed quiet.

Apparently it was trolls on forums and social media that put people off going.

Is this any more of a disaster than usual for the BDO? For instance, how did the attendances compare to last year's World Trophy?

Looked worse than last year to my mind, but that may just be because the room last year was smaller.

Lakeside was getting over 300 in for each of the 3 sessions.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x
