If ever there were a moment for Cadby to step up to the plate, it would be now. As it is, we don't even know when he'll be playing again ffs

Ordinarily I'd say it might be a bit too early for de Zwaan, but if he can have a good back end to the year it might be enough with the top end looking a bit thin. Cullen as well can hopefully show us that his Matchplay wasn't a false dawn

I'd put about six players in it and then fill the other games with legends exhibition matches.

I think that is the issue at the moment.
The newbies are not ready, the young players we thought might be up there have fallen way short of the standard we hoped for so we are left with the current crop. If cadby had been able to play I think he would be up near the top 30 so a good end of season may have got him in. Sadly we are looking at white and Webster as possibilies and not the likes of Dimitri, Cadby and Jamie Lewis

These problems would be partly alleviated if they had not pointlessly increased it to 10 players a few years back.

Good point...At the time it seemed a good idea as a few good players missed out, but we are in that period where the young guys are just not ready. I would hate to see players like JdZ, Dimitri or Hopp get battered week in week out as, like previously, the likes of Webster and Kim have taken a long time to get over their beatings.
I cannot see the PDC ever reverting back to less players, we just need a couple to break through the cloggers

The off must have been expecting the world number 3 to come over and hold his own.

I dunno, I kinda expect that putting Cadby on such a big stage at this juncture would backfire spectacularly in some way, either on or off the oche.

Hopefully not. He'd get totally slaughtered. The worst part about it is that large parts of the German fanbase are both very fickle and very vindictive. The abuse he'd be taking would be unbelievable.

Last few sightings down under he doesn't have the game, never mind the visa.

You only have to look at Price's PL performance this year for evidence of the potential to backfire.

He was atrocious.

At the moment I have to agree with this lineup. It's still up to Cullen and White to prove they are good enough on TV. Don't like White in particular but I think if he earns his place then he should be there. I suspect one of Wade or Lewis will have a decent enough season and get back in the PL.

Agree the 8 apart from White and Cullen are definites. Barney will probably put in 1 decent TV performance to confirm his place.

Other 2 spots up for grabs, probably whoever does best out of Cullen, White, Wade, Lewis and Whitlock. Think it's too soon for anyone else.

Barney won't need any decent performances to secure his place.
Nailed on regardless.
Any kind of showing anywhere and hopp will get in I think.
