Is menstruate saying or hinting at not accepting the invite this year? He is nailed on for getting an invitation, he has become a very popular player.

On Barney and importance to ticket sales, Ginge is right on this one. This year not having Taylor PDC moved on just fine and they will without Barney. Give Barney the world series events as he is still a draw in the hinter lands of darts. Plus he actually gives a chance of the locals to get past the first round.

As if most of the Premier League crowds even realise who's playing most of the time, won't make a bit of difference.

Let's all jump to conclusions. Here's mine: Fuck Shitlock.
One of the comments said James Wade did an interview where he said he might not play because of his kid? I wonder if that's correct...

No, it would not.
He's boring and predictable.
He'll maybe win if his opponent is under 95 avg, he'll lose if not. As ultimate scavenger, just pointless in PL.

Has been playing some brilliant darts though as of late, particularly in the WS Finals. Defo has to be in, deserves it

Whitlock and Mensur being eliminated in the first round sadly aids RVB's cause.

Mind you, I didn't want Whitlock in anyway.

Ffs, where in the hell are people hearing this shit players won't accept the invite to the PL?
PL is a coveted invitation. The impact on a players earning is big. It goes way beyond the PL prize fund. The increased exposure means good money for the players in sponsorship.

For all of Prices crying last year, he gets the invite he will be there. Price has probably doubled his earning potential wirh sponsors given the Ando fiasco, and that little incident lived him in for a PL spot.

Not sure what numbers your talking about. The numbers I am talking about are increased value to the sponsor are the 9 weeks plus the possibility of an additional 6 weeks exposure. How many other events would the player have to play and how far would they have to go to get the same amount of exposure? Appearance wise it is about 3 to 4 majors worth if the player makes it to the final every time.

I hope the over promotion of the MVG - Max Hype game doesnt mean that Sky are going to give max a wildcard with Barney.
