Amazes me the number of idiot dart players can't even spell my fucking name right. FFS if you fucking idiots wanted to call me out and do it properly one would think you would at least get my name right. Fartoid never got it right either, fucking Paula and Des Jacklin of American darts between the two of you useless morons.

Actually I take that back, Des and Paula actually do more and get more done in darts in their country than you or Fartoid do. Lets see Des actually got on the board and is forcing changes, Fartoid never got elected to the board of the ADO. Jacklins actually run a tournament(s) that have years of success meanwhile NWDS resulted in those running in having to dip into their own pockets to write the checks. Checks.....need I say more.

Sorry, couldn't be bothered to worry about the correct spelling of your name.

well, I guess I'll figure out who is in the race for the American team.
I suppose I can shove the lists from the cdc site up here to keep it transparent or in case I make any mistakes...
(I need to learn how to take a screen shot.)

CDC OoM goes by points; 18, 12, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 - winner, finalist, semis, quarters, etc...
position, player, current cdc 2 year order of merit, points coming off from cosmo classic 2016, points coming off from event #2, number to add the 2 2018 event's results to

1 Larry Butler 150 -4, -18 = 128
2 DJ Sayre 108 -8, -6 = 94
3 Darin Young 102 -8, -2 = 92
4 Danny Lauby II 92 -6, -6 = 80
5 Gary Mawson 86 -6, -2 = 78

larry butler is already in it, so only one shooter is unknown
these are 4 that can mathematically get in.
tornament dates are april 28 & 29 and then we'll know...

I believe both White and Fatum are not mathematically eliminated, a long shot yes as respectively they are at 70 and 72 points. Further both have been listed as representing America in the PDC.

link to the CDC 2 year OOM as was posted earlier.

This is how you could have linked the results from Events 1 & 2 from 2016 from the CDC website if they had been there.

As someone once said to me "maybe you could put on your big boy pants and at least try to...." learn it on your own. Sometimes you have to click on things to find out how to screenshot.

see that the cutoff date for OoM purposes in deciding the teams is 5/18
the milton keynes players championships will not be counted.
so only the players champs this weekend in wigan & two ET dates to go.

So basically it's Chizzy and Cross for England unless Smith wins all that is remaining from now till cut off date....

Between now and the cut-off date, Chisnall is defending two Euro Tour finals and a Players Championship semi, totaling up to £24k. Smith is defending £5k in the same time period. Their OoM difference right now is about £33k, which means after taking off the defending money Smith needs about £14k over Chisnall to pass him. Still a tough ask, but winning a Players Championship or reaching an Euro Tour final gets him really close. Winning one of the Euro Tours would guarantee it. It's hard, but not impossible given his recent form.

Smith still has an outside chance but I think he blew his best chance, losing the final to Hopp
I would like to see him do it but fear he is going to end up a few grand short

None of the English players are in any kind of consistent form.
Same could be said for the Dutch, no chance the Scots.
Maybe Belgiums year?

If Bezzeg and Alexits keep their usual 90+ avg from the Hungarian league, they will have chances too.
