Out of the seeds, Gando probably has the hardest game. Dimitri definitely in trouble too.

First round and still a few tasty looking games, the bastards.

First 3 games in the draw look the most interesting. Horvat and Marijanovic also might be capable on a good day, their opponents aren't particularly in form either. Hopefully at least one of the Germans can pull off a win.

Been zero evidence of it anywhere else!

You could say he was a little unlucky earlier in the season when the results just weren't happening, but he's really gone off the boil of late. Hopefully he'll pick up his form again like he did towards the back end of last year, which all started with...the World Series

Friday afternoon and evening. No fucker watches ITV, we all know that

Looking at the 2018 PDC calendar, I see the PDC are still doing this silly thing of having the US World Series, Shanghai World Series and World Matchplay in consecutive weeks. So the players are going to go about 8 hours back, then about 17 hours forward, and then about 9 hours back, in consecutive weeks, similar to last year. This is a clear jetlag nightmare, and it's happening going into the second biggest event in darts, again. They'd be better off holding all these World Series events in late May and through June.

This is going to be some crazy spectacle. Friday.

The first round will be split across two mini-sessions at 3pm and 5.30pm local time, with the quarter-finals kicking off a bumper evening session from 8pm.

The intervals will see music acts on stage at the Veltins Arena to complement the unique World Series of Darts tournament.
