2018 PDC World Matchplay (July 21-29)

I've seen loads and loads of PDC finals but that was right up there, fabulous stuff, I wish both could win somehow!!

Well daid,that was pure Matchplay in the final of the Worldmatchplay!!!

Every leg counts, set play has its benefits but this is the truest form of the game, especially over that distance.

I wonder what Custer would have said lol!

And unlike Ando get massacred lol I bet Crazy Horse would have made a cracking Darts Player,i just get that feeling!!

A fabulous match. I saw some shades of the 1998 final when Anderson was 17-14 up and almost blew it (Baxter was 17-14 up against Harrington in 1998, before Harrington won 19-17). Suljovic was on the back foot the moment he went from 9-7 up to 10-14 down and struggling to hit a double in that period.

I sure does,going to be an amazing run up to the Worlds,and we could end up,could end up with the best Worlds ever.That big Austrian really has added massive flavour to this Sport,has to be said!!

And well done Ando,remember back in the day when he dropped out of the top 16,he has overcome many a Demon!

Mvg needs to find some bottle, last few majors he has choked or not turned up at all.

Thing is the pressure on MGV is now at a much bigger scale than any Great player as ever had,the field out there is just so long and strong and at the minute he is the number one Scalp out there,no pun needed lol.
Yes i think we are going to find out just how good MGV is,as for the rest of the season,we have an ultra competitive sport again,hurray!!!!!!!!

I think he's struggling with having a newish baby, the pressure of being number 1, constantly having to play well or else he loses, he knows not many are actually scared of him, gonna be very interesting to see if he can bounce back.

Adore that song, gorgeous I love Queen too, they are fabulous days to be a darts fan let's all enjoy them while we can! I thought I might fall out of love a bit with darts once Taylor went and some days I'm not hyper actively excited but I still enjoy it and this tournament has been brilliant, really looking forward to the rest of the year now
