Time for doing a thread. Tickets go on priority sale this morning.

Provisional field following the UK Open qualifiers, thanks to Burton.

Well that list has removed all money to be defended between now and the Matchplay, so very unlikely.

His real problems are yet to begin. Later this year he's defending a European Championship semi-final, Grand Slam final and then a World Championship quarter-final. 108k combined. Similar to what Lewis was facing at the back end of last year.

So the provisional new players are Clayton, North, Ratajski, Brown, Wattimena and VVDV
From the 2017 field, Thornton, King, Reyes, Kist and Benito are not set to return at the moment.

This could yet change of course. But for Reyes and Benito it's looking really bad at the moment. From in-form players last year, even talked about a future PL place, now they have to up their floor game considerably.

Corey up the Blackpool table like a rocket. Crazy start.

Burton DeWitt @bsd987
Corey Cadby already up to the 8th ProTour spot for Blackpool—ahead of Adrian Lewis on countback. Rob Cross finished in the 4th spot last year, for comparison.

Pipe is too close to the cut-off zone for my liking. Hopefully he drops down a bit more.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Ratajski will drop over the next few months. Pipe is quite blatantly going to nick the last spot like last year. With Mark Webster dropping like a stone too, Pipe is probably going to work doubly hard to clog his way into events sigh

Like an unflushable turd.

I wouldn't mind so much if he came across as a decent bloke, but he comes across as a right prick.

Burton DeWitt @bsd987
Finally did the projections. Projecting the Matchplay ProTour cut-off to be around £33,250. Last year, it was a record £35,000. Added minimum earnings for UK Open 3rd Round qualifiers, plus Euro Tour qualifiers.

Norris wouldn't qualify on the pro tour ranking if he weren't top 16.
Klaasen's downfall is notable as well.

6000 of Norris's Pro Tour money came from the 2 Euro Tours after July where he managed to win a game. Once he loses his seeding there, he is in trouble.
