PDC website says the draw is "expected" to be made on Wednesday.

Think they just do them when Barry is available, probably at a Vegas hotel in this case. If he's not sober on Wednesday it might have to be Thursday. It always seems most amateurish, well apart from the Worlds draw.

"yer Adrian Lewises, yer Gary Andersons"
"Wayne Mar-dell"
"me best mate Robbie Williams"
Sure to name drop Ronnie O'Sullivan and Ricky Hatton in a couple of times too

Nicho tweets that World Matchplay will be live on Talksport radio. They seem to be doing every Sky tournament now. Excellent news.

The draw is today supposedly... bring me Chizzy-De Zwaan.

It's past 5pm now and nothing about the Matchplay draw. At least set a fucking time and give fans a proper notice. I'm sure many would be interested, this is all amateurish stuff from the PDC.

Perhaps they're working to Vegas time?

Indeed, most likely that's why we haven't seen anything yet.

But the point is, no matter what time the draw's at, they should be informing the public about it. Problem is, they are making it up as they go along.

Probably they are waiting for Mr.Hearn to wake up in his hotel room. And when he and at least another executive/staff member an be arsed, they'll do it. Either with 5 minutes notice, or 40 minutes after it was supposed to happen. It's just not professional at all.

They don't give a shit about the fans.

Don't they realise we do have other things in our lives? It can't be hard to set a fucking time and stick to it. My employer won't have been happy about me refreshing all day.

The article on the PDC website has now been amended to say the draw will take place on Thursday 5th July, "expected" to be around 7pm UK time.

Well it was "expected" today, so forgive me when I say it means fuck all.

Wouldn't it have been wiser to do the draw before they jetted off to Vegas?

Clearly it would have been better if they did that. Sadly in many aspects you just can't expect a professional job from the PDC

Jeffrey will be hoping that Blackpool gets a sudden snowstorm. That is some tie for him.

Tricky draw for Jeffrey, but he should just about have enough to beat Lewis in Round 2.

Wade and Suljovic look highly backable in the bottom half. I don't see Wright or Cross reaching the final.

Draw in bracket order:

MVG v JDZ
Lewis v Wilson
Chisnall v Brown
Smith v Clayton
Gurney v West
Price v Cullen
G. Anderson v Bunting
RVB v K. Anderson
Wright v Klaasen
K. Huybrechts v Henderson
Whitlock v North
Wade v Wattimena
Suljovic v Beaton
White v Hopp
Cross v King
Webster v Lennon
Wonder if the top one was pre-arranged given what happened at Minehead! Either way, it was the one I was hoping for, de Zwaan's already beaten MvG on TV this year so he shouldn't choke if the opportunity arises again

Kim's Matchplay hoodoo has to surely come to an end as well.

Hendo will be a melted blob on the stage if this heat keeps up.
