See how close Price was standing behind Clayton by the end. Rattled to fuck as Clayton shot off to the finish line.

That Shanghai on 20s with Price on 56 for 5-5 completely turned the match.

Amazing achievement for Clayton considering he's only been a pro for 3 years and only really broke through in the last year.

Fair play Clayton, turned up at last when it mattered. Can't say he didn't deserve to win that particular game

ETs have become a proving ground of sorts for those players in the limbo of being good floor players or those who show flashes of brilliance. Get your feet wet on the stage and hopefully some of these guys show some ability in majors. There still exists a massive gap in the PDC between a group of 4 players and the rest hopefully the gap in consistent quality in the major performance will diminish with the experience some of these younger players are getting from the ETs.

Agreed. It is definitely helping some of the younger players getting used to the stage.
Hopefully they won't choke when they get on the bigger stages.
Guys like Humphries, Payne and Hunt getting used to the cameras and noise should help them if they get through to a majors.
All they need now is a green screen with fake walk on an crowd for Dimitri, so when in Wigan and Barnsley
He thinks he is at a major and plays better

I'd quite like to see these events expanded to allow qualifiers from the likes of Asia, Australia/NZ etc into this. Gives these players a pathway onto the main tours.
