4-4, Evetts starts.

And wins. Poor Cody. :(

Evetts wins! I'll wait for confirmation on what that means...

Evetts takes it.

Hurray for maximum confusion this year:

- Cadby situation
- unclear alternate for the upcoming World Youth champion
- Evetts in the running through both sub-tours

Incidentally, well done by the PDC for expanding the Ally Pally field and doing absolutely nothing to double-check their published rules for newly created edge cases afterwards.

Well done Super Ted (if he's done it, that is).

Saves him having to go through the floor qualifier route again and he's got his Tour Card back. Impressive to qualify through both the CT and DT, but obviously commiserations to Cody on it ending this way for him.

Has it even been confirmed that Edgar is the alternate yet?

Nope, not at all. That was just deWitt's idea of how it supposedly works. Allegedly supported by somebody he contacted at the PDPA, but their rules interpretations have been rather lacking in the past, too. The IMHO most likely result remains that the spot is going into the PDPA qualifier, just like in previous years.

He'd already got both from last week, he was just playing for shits and giggles this weekend

True. Same as Barnard who'd qualified ages ago.

No update from Erik as he's ended up going out on his 10th wedding anniversary  -

Matt Edgar seems to believe that he's qualified, according to his twitter.

Yeah, saw that. Though he didn't say what makes him believe so - if they quietly told him Cadby won't make it over, then he's definitely the alternate for that.

It's Harris who'll be at Ally Pally
https://www.pdc.tv/news/2018/11/11/harr ... lly-return
Think I prefer this, Killington can come again, and at least Rowby John has Ally Pally to look forward to

Thank God for that.

Decent list for the UK Open qualifiers as well.

+1

Cody likes our plum brandy, good guy.

Martin Atkins (Wigan) in the 6th place, good stuff. He's the first relatively unknown player on that list, won £4,050.

Meanwhile the Martin Atkins we know from the BDO, "The Assassin" won a grand total of £350 all year.

The plot thickens! According to what was on the PDPA website earlier (which Barry Hearn apparently confirmed), Evetts would be winning his WC place via the DT and his TC via the Challenge Tour (hence Rowby John/Zonneveld would be getting a tour card), but now there is no mention of it. If that information is correct, then Harris would need Barnard to sneak into the top 64 by winning at least two games at Ally Pally in order to win a tour card.
What an absolute clusterfuck

Sad for Menzies, uch. Back to Q-School with Yozza then. No mysteries this time.
Pleased that Cody gets into the Worlds. I think he did.
Worth the effort but don't forget who won the lot. Ug:

Updated, how nice. I don't know how to pluralise a Dimitri. 1 Dimitrus, imo.

This was some achievement. He's too elderly to win it next year, wonder who's next...

Dart Connect has the draw up. Ratajski is not there :(

Menzies is there, as is Jamie Hughes. Hughes plays Mark Walsh first round, tough one.
Who won that game finally?
