Preston currently 3-2 up with a break of throw.
And Preston wins 5-3!

Menzies must get to the semifinals to knock Cody out of a trip to Ally Pally.

Poor Jamie, I really thought he would have kicked on more after he's played quite well early in the year. Certainly one of the players who I really hope get a card at Q-School. At least he's going to be at the UK Open, that's something I guess.

Murray's double breaks up over Menzies.

Menzies 2-0 down, which would open the door for Andy Boulton of all people

Well this could be over rather quickly: Ryan Murray 3-0 up on Cammy.

Menzies can't break back after sitting on 28 with 3 darts.

After poor doubling in critical situations, loses the match.

And that's it confirmed: Cammy will NOT be going to Ally Pally, losing 5-3 to Murray.

Had chances for 3-3 and 4-4 but threw them both away.

Preston out, which means only Boulton can usurp Harris

Boulton is in the last 8...

Boulton into the quarters. The section determining his next opponent is a full match behind, just completed the last 32 there.

Dennant's loss means he's hanging onto the last UK Open spot at the moment, relying on Beveridge, Lynn or Fulwell not getting to the final

Evans 4-1 and 2 breaks up against Boulton. Get in!

5-3 with a 107 to break. Harris is there.

Boulton eliminated by David Evans which means Cody Harris returns to Ally Pally!

Hang on, Jetze Jan is saying that if Evetts wins, he qualifies through the Challenge Tour, which would give Killington a space at Ally Pally and Rowby John a tour card

So he's finally discovered that, too...

Actually, it's not sure at all which way it'll be decided. There's no clear rule for the world championship spot, and the rule for the tour card spot only applies to 2018 tour cards as of this date, not tour cards for 2019.

Hang on, he's right: Evetts would end up on £6,100 if he wins.

What a confusing mess this is turning out to be.

As Zeyes says, it doesn't seem to be written anywhere, though knowing the PDC favouring the young lads, it would make sense

Not clearly anyway, only states that the CT takes precedence if a players qualifies by both methods...
