Chizzy turns 38 in 3 days.

He doesn't look 38.
Someone do a 'sweekstake' on when his age will meet his ranking. I would but I think somebody might have a fit.

Clear to see that the UK Open will benefit from the new entry criteria.

1 Barnard, Michael £10,700
2 Menzies, Cameron £4,600
--------------------------------------------------
3 Harris, Cody £4,250
4 Ratajski, Krzysztof £4,200
5 Nilsson, Dennis £3,950
6 Atkins, Martin (Wigan) £3,700
7 Preston, Simon £3,600
8 Evetts, Ted £3,550
9 Huckvale, Adam £3,350
10 Hughes, Jamie £3,050
How does it work again...?
When someone doesn't want to play in PC then a guy from CT plays? (in order of CT OoM of course)

At least the last four PC events will have a few players we want to see, with the exception of Atkins and Preston. Barnard not good to watch but he has battered the rest in the CT.
It makes me wonder if Cammie hadn't missed those 4 events whether he would have pretty much clinched the tour card..

What happens if Barnard (or maybe Ratajski if he finishes top 2) get themselves into the top 64 on the main OoM after the Worlds, would 3rd/4th get a tour card?

Yes, it seems so.
- The 2018 Challenge Tour Order of Merit winners and runners-up will receive two-year Tour Cards for 2019 and 2020.

NOTE: if any of the players who achieve the above otherwise qualify for a Tour Card or reject their invitations, places will be offered further down the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.

Needs to be noted though that this is a subject on which they've done last minute rule changes numerous times already.

The descent into laziness continues for Dimitri.
And "Hywel Manuel" sounds like the Welsh name for Manuel from Fawlty Towers.

Fantastic stuff.

Time again to say... wait for it... I wonder if van Tergouw will be going for a tour card in January.

Playing Humphries in the final. Looks like they were the two "big" names in the quarters so fair enough.
