Straining to favourably compare the pursuit of Lakeshite points to the flippin Challenge Tour. I think that just about sums it up.

"It’s now worth having a Tour Card," he eventually advised. We are not worthy.
Cheers hun. I've always said the Tour Card & No fees shouldve been brought in together.

I don't think that was a real doctor mate.

Seems that old Pauly, FcLoyalty and others find themselves trying to sell their system after yesterday's historic news, and the values they have picked are fair enough:

"fun weekend"
"love playing for their country"

That's who you are. And it's good.

However, tune in again next week when the cognitive dissonance swings back the other way and he'll be trying to find rich backers to present BDO/EDO/whatevernotPDC darts as a genuine high quality sporting event worthy of public attention.

Some say hail bazza.....I say hail oche and warty. Fuck me that is some desperate shit they've just came out with.

Paul James makes the BDO tour sound like some planes, trains and automobiles adventure. Who* the fuck would to go to Romania while all the pro tours are in England with free entry?

With this fly In, play darts, fly out theory, you're never going to see any of these places anyway, bar some sports hall, so you may as well be in Fucking Wigan earning proper money.

Lakeside really is just the big piss up at the end of a season of them.

Ffs the depths some of these mushrooms will go to find a positive way to spin and justify BDO over PDC participation. It is a cult for them. Can't wait for the second bit of PDC news to be released. The kool aid is being prepared for the mushrooms, rumor has it they will have to go to Romania to drink it...but they all get ranking points and the beer is cheap

depends how much you eat and drink , have you been on darting trips to Latvia etc , east Europe can get great deals on flights etc , £1 a pint helps.

Simon Rimington
It's a lot of faff though Paul James and relies on time off work to a huge extent. I'm not talented enough but working in a school it is possible to do a lot of PDC events. In the BDO I can't even get to Isle of Man

Paul James
Plenty of events you can do in BDO without time off work , could fly to Italy Friday night if you wanted play in ranking singles Saturday , flew home early Sunday morning and at county venue by 9.20am .
Some I know done French open last year on a day trip! Poland fly out late Friday night return late Sunday night 2 ranked singles !

Simon Rimington
But is that as easy as driving you car in the UK Paul? The pay out isn't as good either, logically I do not see how things can continue as they are.

Paul James

Most haven't a hope of collecting money , but I guess they would rather a fun weekend in Poland playing darts than playing 4 singles in a leisure centre , that at times resembles a doctors surgery !

Simon Rimington
And this is my point, darts for fun. That's all the BDO will be.
Imagine the piss up for that coach trip. Bargain Booze be have empty shelves before setting off that day.
